Sim Recipes Support

Help for Sim Recipes on Mac and iPhone.

Mac and iPhone

Sim Recipes reads the film simulation recipe in your Fujifilm RAF and JPEG photos and keeps the recipes you like in a collection that syncs between Mac and iPhone through iCloud. You can Browse published recipes, and on iPhone record a private Location Track. Both apps read your photos on your own device; see theprivacy policy for exactly what is ever sent.

Browse and your account

Browse is part of the paid app, on Mac and iPhone. The app unlocks it by verifying Apple's signed AppTransaction purchase record; there is no subscription and no separate purchase inside the app. Signing in is optional and separate from that purchase. It is only needed for account features such as publishing and managing your own uploads.

If Browse does not unlock on a build you installed outside the App Store (a side-loaded or Xcode build has no App Store purchase record), retry once with a working internet connection. If it still fails, delete the app and reinstall it from TestFlight or the App Store, then open Browse again.

Location Track

Delete your account

Open Settings → Sim Recipes account → Delete Account…, confirm with the account you signed in with, then tap Delete Account. The app sends the exact confirmation DELETE together with a one-use re-authentication for that same account. Your local My Photos, Saved and Location History stay on your device after the account is deleted; remove them from within the app if you want them gone.
